The Tragic Story of Dianasaur

sorry about being late, but here's the rest of my story...

As the wind howled and the ground shook, in a nest overflowing with eggs, one egg rolled from the nest, its mother chasing after it. When it rolled into the water though, she had to stop, because she didn't know how to swim. The egg lay at the bottom of a deep river. A Dark shadow approached the egg, its mouth open and it... Was asleep? Its fin-leg-thingies were moving but its eyes were closed. The egg shook, it was time for it to hatch but it was impossible for the little dinosaur to breath underwater, so she tried not to hatch, but the egg was just about falling apart around her, one tap, one bump and the shell would shatter. The large animal was green and scaly and when it went past it bumped the egg, this not only broke the shell but also woke up the prehistoric crocodilian. When the very crocodile-like thing saw the young dinosaur struggling to reach the surface, her heart just about broke. The baby dinosaur reminded her of her own eggs which were going to be hatching soon. She scooped the dinosaur up in her mouth and rushed to the surface. When she came up, she opened her mouth to allow the baby dino to breath. She rushed to land remembering that her eggs would be hatching any minute now. When she reached land the young dinosaur just about jumped from her mouth. They walked side by side to the crocodile-like-thing's nest, where her eggs were. The baby dinosaur's tiny steps could hardly keep up with the larger creatures huge ones, and every now and then the dinosaur would wobble and fall over, and the gentle motherly creature would patiently help her up... again, and again, and again, and again, and... (well you get the idea). They reached the nest just in time to see the eggs hatching. The crocodile-like-thing looked at her babies and said, "oh my little archosaurs, your even cuter than I imagined!" She looked at them with pride, but the young dinosaur couldn't understand why she thought they were so cute. As she looked at them in confusion, the mother named them all, and when she came to the little dinosaur she said, "and I'll call you Dianasaur." So if you hadn't already guessed, you know now, that small little dinosaur that was saved by a dinosaur of another species was me. Without that kind-hearted archosaurs I wouldn't be here right now... but still, sometimes I wonder what my life would have been like if I had been raised by my biological mother, and had siblings of my own species, whatever that is. My mother (the kind archosaurs that saved me) didn't know what species I was. As I got older, I grew farther and farther apart from my siblings, they were strict herbivores, but sometimes I craved meat, not that I didn't like grass, leaves, and other plants, it's just that I think whatever species I really was were omnivores (that means they eat plants and meat). Also, I stood on my hind legs, while my brothers, sisters, and mother stood on all four legs. The biggest difference of all though, were my large green eyes, my mom said she had never met a dinosaur with eyes my color, so as distinctive as they were I still wasn't able to tell what species of dinosaur I was even with something so unique. So, I grew up strong, independent, and as an outsider even among my siblings who I know loved me very much and I loved them with all my heart, but we were just so different...

Well, that's my story, a near death experience, a surprising and lucky save, a life as an outsider, a stranger among my closest friends, and learning to be strong, ignore the many cruel things people can say, and to be independent at a very young age, too young. Some say it made me hard, but it just taught me how cruel life could be to someone so young. Despite all these difficulties, though, I had an amazing family that helped make it easier at every turn.

The Story of Juladactyl

Ok I know I'm a little late but anyways here we go...

There once was a beautiful bird-thinga-ma-jig who was headed to her nest. Then, all of the sudden, the ground began to shake and the bird fell from the sky as the wind tore her wing clean off as she shrieked, (which, by the way, is not a pretty sound) knowing that she could be heard throughout the entire jungle! High upon a rocky ledge, an egg in a nest made of twigs, feathers, leaves, and the bones of devoured animals, began to tumble, hurtling toward the jungle floor, when all of the sudden a crack appeared in the shell until out popped a bird looking like the thinga-ma-jig mentiond earlier. It continued to tumble until it hit the ground with a loud thud. As soon as the creature was on its feet it heard a shrill noise bouncing off of the jungle floor. Then, seeming to come from out of no where, a bird fell straight through the trees landing in front of the newly hatched baby. The bird instantly recognized the baby as her own, even having only seen it as an egg. The mother picked up her baby and climbed upon the ledge, avoiding the pain where her wing should have it been. When they reached the nest they discovered the other eight eggs had also hatched. The father took the place of the mother, teaching the baby pterodactyls how to fly and catch food.  The babies grew up into children, growing kind, forgiving, and strong. And thus ended the birth of Juladactyl.

On Monday, the 21 (I think), see what happens to the AMAZING Juladactyl.

Dianasaur... sneak preview

This is Dianasaur and on Tuesday I'm going to post about how I ended up with just a generic name that doesn't sound like a specific dinosaur name... or at least the story I want people hearing ;) and I'm going to give all of you a sneak preview...

As the wind howled and the ground shook, in a nest overflowing with eggs, one egg rolled from the nest, its mother chasing after it. More on Tuesday :)

First Blog Post

Yes! I got a new blog today! I'm thinking I'm going to have to share with my four friends so it's pretty exciting. I hope to be able to get all of us posting randomly and maybe you'll get to know a couple of my friends a little better. Were the five dinos just cause. There's me, Juladactyle, Dianasaur, K-Rex, Annisaurus, and Broncatasaurus. Sorry if I spelled anybody's name wrong. So I hope I'll be able to post a couple times a week, that's my goal anyways. But we'll see how it goes.
                         Juladactyl out!
