The Amazing Story of K-Rex!!!
This is the tragic, yet amazing, story of the birth of K-Rex. What started out for her parents as the birth day of their only child, quickly turned into a day of tragedies. Right as the egg was beginning to crack, a lightning bolt struck their tree. The mother and father of K-Rex were sent flyimg into a nearby tree. Blackness enclosed their vision, as they slipped into unconsciousness. Meanwhile, the baby t-rex was born. With the wind and rain whipping the trees, baby K-Rex was left all alone. Eventually, she fell asleep in the raging storm.
By the morning, the storm had died down. As K-Rex looked around, she saw two dead figures at the bottom of a nearby tree. Upon closer inspection, she learned that it was her mommy and daddy. After learning this, she wandered around the forest, in search of a new family.

A New Friend
I had been watching it for a couple of nights now, three to be exact. The dinosaur's techniques intrigued me to no end and I wanted to learn more. I should have known that tonight of all nights would be bad because three had always been a horrible number for me. I was sitting in one of the trees that made up the grove that the other creature liked to hunt in, watching and observing the way her strange skills differentiated from mine. One way was that it waited silently, patiently, listening to the sounds of her next meal. I on the other hand, fly high above, watching for movement and attacking when I see it. This night in particular, though, there was nothing to be found. I was watching the dinosaur so intently that I didn't realize that the branch beneath me was giving way until it was too late.
I was flipping through the air before I could say "oh". Fortunatly I had a soft landing. Unfortunatly, my soft landing was the creature I was watching. I tried to bolt, but the other dinosaur was to fast and had caught me much to quickly. It was on top of me in mere seconds, preparing itself for the kill.
"No! Wait!" I cried, fear thick in my voice. "Spare my life and you won't regret it!" The moment was mine as soon as the confusion was clear on the dinosaur's face. I took it and was soon free of it's grasp. "What kind of dinosaur are you?" I asked moving slightly higher into the air, ready to flee at a moments notice. The other dinosaur glared in my general direction. It made no move to speak so I did instead. "Well, can you talk?" I asked, seriously concerned that it couldn't.
"Yes, I can," she (for I could immediatly tell that it was female by the pitch in her voice) said so quietly that I almost couldn't hear her at all. She looked at me with sass splayed across her face and asked: "What kind of dinosaur are you?"
"I am a most amazing, honorable, beautiful, and skilled pterodactyl," . . . just kidding I didn't really say that. This is what I really said. "I am a pterodactyl, and technically we aren't dinosaurs at all!" I replied, pride coating my voice. I was utterly confused as to the reason that she had to ask. I was one of the most feared and honered of my kind, though she'll probably try to tell you that I'm actually the most un-popular. There was a long terrible silence. "What's your name?" I asked to fill the void building between us.
"Dianasaur, it's Dianasaur," she replied with an air of utmost importance. "What's your name?"
"Juladactyl. What were you doing out here in the middle of the night?"
"I was about to ask you the same thing, but I suppose you deserve an answer... I was out hunting for a snack, I got hungry," she told me as her face shone bright red in embarrassment. "What about you, why were you out so late?"
I looked her up and down slowly, "for the same reason." I looked at her closely and saw envy gathered in her features."You know the best way to not be embarrassed is to not get embarrassed."

Her face crinkled as she broke into a grin and said, "well, I guess we all can't be as amazing as you." I could see the amusement playing through her eyes now and, for no reason at all, burst into uncontrollable laughter.
I swiftly brought mysef under control and said, utterly serious, "I can show you where I usually hunt if you want. I would really like it if you taught me some of your hunting techniques, I've been watching you the last few nights and you're really quite good," I said, feeling the blood rushing to my cheeks.
"You know the best way to not be embarrassed is to not get embarrassed," she said, imitating my voice horribly. We fell over into fits of giggles once again and in that moment I realized that I had found myself a new friend.
